Social Media Manager

Part-time (12-16 hours per week, spread across the week) | UK-based, remote

We're looking for someone to own the daily execution of AIM's social presence. You'll work directly with our founder on creative direction, then take responsibility for posting, captions, community management, and campaign delivery across Instagram and TikTok.

The vision and brand voice are already defined. We need someone who can execute consistently, with strong taste, and who understands run culture from the inside.

What you'll do

Post daily content across Instagram and TikTok, source and edit UGC, write captions in AIM's voice, manage community via comments and DMs, deliver campaigns and product drops on time.

Who you'll work with

You'll report directly to our founder for creative direction. You'll work alongside our existing VA on content sourcing and our ecommerce marketing contractor on campaign timing.

Tools you'll use

Canva for design, Trello for the content calendar, Google Drive for assets.

What success looks like in 30 days

A planned and consistent feed that doesn't need daily input from the founder. A sharper community signal (engagement quality, not just volume). A content engine that runs in cycles aligned with key cultural running moments, campaigns and product drops.

What you'll need

UK-based, an active runner who genuinely cares about it, strong taste in running culture, 2+ years social media experience for a culturally-driven or brand-led product. Bonus if you've run your own brand or community account.

Operations Lead

AIM (Always In Motion) — performance running sunglasses. UK-based, founder-led, growing fast.

If you love systems, solving problems, and being the person who makes things run, read on.

The role

We're hiring the person who owns operations for AIM end to end, while the founder leads brand, marketing and community, and our finance lead owns the P&L. You're the operational engine: the systems, the suppliers, the fulfilment and the team that keeps product moving from the factory floor to the customer's door.

You'll work directly with the founder to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. We already have a v1 that works. Your job is to build it into something that scales without breaking, and to run it so cleanly that most decisions never need to reach the founder.

What you'll own

  • Our 3PL and logistics relationships. You set the standard, hold partners accountable, and run the reviews.

  • Customer service oversight: triage, fulfilment issue resolution, and the decision rules that keep escalations rare.

  • Inventory accuracy across our systems and partners, so we always know what we have and where it is.

  • Purchase orders end to end: raising, tracking and chasing every order with suppliers.

  • New product launches, from inbound stock to live on Shopify.

  • Demand forecasting and production planning around our manufacturing lead times. Getting reorders right is one of the highest-leverage things you'll do.

  • Production schedules and critical path, coordinated with the founder and our manufacturing partners.

  • Freight and fulfilment across the markets we sell into.

  • Margin discipline: targets are checked before any PO is raised. You feed clean operational data to our finance lead, who owns the numbers.

  • The SOPs and systems, AI tools included, that let all of this scale from a small team to a much bigger one.

You'll thrive if you

  • Have run or coordinated operations, supply chain, or buying at a product brand. Startup or ecommerce experience is a big plus.

  • Are detail-oriented and systems-driven by nature. When something breaks twice, your instinct is to systematise it.

  • Stay calm under pressure. You don't drop the ball when it's busy.

  • Are confident holding external partners accountable.

  • Are commercially numerate. You understand margin and unit economics, even though the finance lead owns the financials.

  • Are comfortable in Shopify and inventory platforms, and you love working with systems and AI.

  • Are proactive, honest, and ready to work closely with a founder. You'll push back when we're wrong.

  • Bonus: worked with overseas manufacturers, launched into new markets, or are a runner or active in a movement community.
